Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP)
The Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) allows Missouri taxpayers to determine where their state tax dollars will be utilized by donating to charitable organizations. EarlystART has been approved to extend $228,713 of NAP tax credits to our supporters in 2022.
Receiving and Using NAP Tax Credits: How does it work? What’s Next?
- Make your contribution of $1,000+ in cash, stock, property, materials, equipment or supplies to EarlystART. Be sure to indicate your desire to apply for tax credits on your donation (check or online from memo line). EarlystART will send you an acknowledgement along with instructions for completing the NAP tax credit application.
- Complete and return the notarized NAP form with proper documentation to: EarlystART, Attn: NAP Tax Credits, 2008 E 12th St., Kansas City, MO 64127.
- After receiving your completed form, EarlystART will mail both the application and proof of donation to the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
As always, please consult your tax professional on the deductibility of charitable gifts for your specific tax situation.
