At EarlystART we believe in reaching out to everyone around us.

We believe in the nurturing strength and support of community.

Volunteering at EarlystART

It’s said that if you want to touch the future, touch a life. That’s what our volunteers do when they share their time and their talents with EarlystART.

Because our mission is centered around children, EarlystART is committed to their safety as well as that of our staff and volunteers.  We ask that volunteers review and adhere to the policies and protocols, and to reach out with any questions.

To learn more about opportunities, please complete the inquiry form via the button below. We will do our best to ensure a rewarding experience suited to you and/or your group’s interests and the time you have to share.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

Stay, Play, & Learn!

EarlystART’s Stay, Play, & Learn is a weekly program where parents/caregivers and families are invited to engage with their child through an arts activity during their regularly-scheduled pick-up time. We would like to invite volunteers to help with set up, support arts/learning activities, and assist with clean up. The weekly series is offered on Thursdays from 3 to 5 PM. Volunteers are welcome to support this anytime from 2 to 5:30 PM.

Little Learners Luncheon

Let’s get together for lunch this fall! We’re inviting you to join us for EarlystART’s fourth annual Little Learners Luncheon. This year’s event is Thursday, September 23, 2022 at the iconic Arrowhead Stadium. Civic leaders and longtime EarlystART advocates, Mark and Mary Jorgenson, are event chairs for the celebration. And a celebration, it certainly will be.

The Plaza Art Fair

Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist children and their families with arts experiences and share information about EarlystART with the community. This includes passing out flyers, encouraging people to sign up for our mailing list, and being an enthusiastic ambassador of our mission. Instructions for the art activities will be made available in advance of the event and also on-site. There will be some ongoing cleanup and organizing of the arts areas throughout each session of volunteering as well.

Fall Festival

EarlystART is excited to present the return of our Fall Festival! This neighborhood block party is an opportunity for the 12th Street Corridor to bring families together with safe, fun activities for all ages. We’ll have performing artists, local vendors and community partners, food, and games; and after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, we want this celebration to be bigger than ever!
