Head Start Assistance
As a collaborative Head Start facility, EarlystART students age 6 weeks to 5 years whose families qualify may receive assistance through the Mid-America Regional Council Head Start. The program covers full or partial enrollment costs.
Children may be eligible for Head Start and Early Head Start services if at least one of the following applies:
- a family has incomes below poverty guidelines which are adjusted for family size and issued each year in the Federal Register by the Department of Health and Human Services
- a family is homeless
- a family is receiving public assistance such as TANF or SSI
- a child is in foster care; foster children are eligible regardless of the foster family’s income.
