In celebration of Black History Month, Arts@St. Mark will present Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey’s Setting the Stage. You won’t want to miss this INTERACTIVE WALKTHROUGH AFRICAN-AMERICAN DANCE HISTORY. The multi-media presentation combines striking visuals with live performances by local and national dancers!
Before the performance, we will serve “A Taste of Soul Luncheon” beginning at 12:00 p.m. The Setting the Stage performance will begin at 1:00 p.m. For children too young to sit through an hour-long performance, our Art Studio will be open for make-and-take projects.
This event is free, but please visit our event page to make a reservation.
